I've always been a huge Star Trek fan, and have been watching a LOT of the older TV syndicated franchises recently (from the original show through to 'Enterprise') and realized that I've never created any kind of tribute/fan art based on a series of shows that have given me so much entertainment over the years. So, first I'm starting with 'Deep Space Nine'. To be honest, I didn't really watch DS9 much when it originally aired, but over the last year or so I've been really getting into it, and realizing what a great show it was. My inspiration for the design is one of the main 'characters' of the show, the 'wormhole' to the Gamma Quadrant.
