Stargate Universe (SGU) was an awesome show that was perhaps a few years before it’s time. It was where the sci-fi TV genre was going, a little dark, serious and moody, but it seemed like the audience wasn’t ready for it and it only lasted 2 seasons. I was bummed when it was cancelled, but at least they wrapped up the series with a good cliff-hanging finale that let the viewer speculate on the fate of the characters. If you’re interested, there was a graphic novel (‘back to destiny’) that picked up where the show ended. Worth a read unless you’re happy with your own imagined ending...
