A show that was always tough to find on British TV when I was a kid, Kolchak: The Night Stalker. There were 2 TV movies before the TV series was aired, and I vividly remember ‘The Night Strangler’ (although ‘The Night Stalker’ was the more popular of the 2 movies, and at the time was the most watched TV movie in history). The show was a big influence on Chris Carter, who went on to create The X Files, and you can certainly see that influence if you’re an X Files fan.
